Shipping and Online Security

Recently one of our customers received a confusing and unexpected email about her order. The shipping company had sent her an email asking her to pay some extra charges for her delivery. Was this an error, new fees, or was it fraud? Luckily this customer did exactly the right thing and contacted us right away!
Classy Threads is always here to answer your questions and support you however we can! COVID-19 has caused a lot of turnover for many companies but the Classy Threads team remains the same small but determined group of experts it has always been. So, we did what we do and solved the issue for the customer.
We had a number of conversations with different departments at the shipping company and spent some time waiting on hold but eventually, we were able to determine the problem. Some taxes had been mistakenly charged on the order even though the school has tax-exempt status. We were happy to spend our time figuring this out so our client could spend her time focussing on her students.
We work hard to make sure we have reliable and cost-effective shipping options for our customers but sometimes problems do arise. Dealing with large, global companies can be a challenge with so many offices and departments to work with and staff turnover has caused some difficulties with communication. Rather than trying to deal with any shipping problems on your own, save yourself some time and just contact us directly! You can email us at admin@classythreads.com or call us at 1-855-436-8749.
Avoiding Fraud

Although the situation we discussed above wasn’t fraud, it serves as a good reminder to always be diligent. Ultimately, if you are unsure of any correspondence you receive whether it’s from us or another organization, always do your due diligence and reach out to someone you know you can trust.
