Here are some updates on our fabric selection!
Fabulous Fleece
We’re pleased to bring back one of our popular fleece colours, Steel Blue, and he’s brought a friend with him, Turmeric! Just in time for the cooling weather, Turmeric will add some warmth to your wardrobe!
Fall is the time for cosy clothes and warm drinks, so we thought we’d have some fun and offer some drink pairings for these colours:
Steel Blue brings to mind the dark skies of a rainy day . . . London Fog with its delicious combination of Earl Grey Tea and Vanilla goes perfectly with this colour.
Turmeric is best enjoyed with a hot and steamy Chai Latte. Sip your drink while enveloped in a warm, Turmeric hug.
Amazing Aprons
One of the first sewing projects many students make is an apron. Both beautiful and practical, aprons make a fashion statement while doing the hard work of keeping us clean in the kitchen. Here are two lovely, new fabrics for your students to choose from: Blue Waves and Bugs and Blooms.
Since we went with drink pairings for the fleece perhaps we’ll do food pairings for the aprons:
Blue Waves, with its strong colours and bold design couldn’t go with anything other than a brownie. Dark and delicious, soft and chewy, everyone has their favourite recipe for this melt in your mouth treat.
The bright, cheerful design of Bugs and Blooms suggests a confetti cupcake smothered in vanilla buttercream and topped with sprinkles. Yum!
