Did you know that Classy Threads has been used by teachers and students across North America for 39 years? That’s right, next year we will be celebrating our 40th Anniversary! We better get those stuffies to start planning a party, it’ll probably take them a year to get organized!
We are proud to offer projects that result in enjoyable, successful sewing experiences year after year.
Have you ever wondered what some of our most popular kits are? Let’s take a look!
Handy Dandy

We have to hand it to these stuffies for consistently being at the top of the list of our most popular Hand Sewing projects.
Fuzzles & Garth, Octavius & Olivia and Mr. Turtle & Friends are loved by our clients and students. With their bright, cheerful colours and cuddly minky and faux fur fabric, they are a great introduction to Hand Sewing.
How fun to think that hundreds of these little critters are living in households throughout Canada and the US!
These Kits Measure Up

Aprons, PJ Pants and Hoodies leave our workroom in huge numbers particularly at the beginning of a new term which just happens to be right now!
Flannel for PJ pants is laid out on our table in layers so that many kits can be cut at once. A brave soul wields the heavy-duty electric cutter that slices through it all like butter while fingers are kept well out of the way.
The fabric is then precisely folded and placed in boxes ready for kit creation. When an order comes in, instructions, pattern, matching thread and waist band elastic are added to the fabric and it’s all put in one neat package.
We get a lot of satisfaction from making sure our kits don’t just include everything that is needed but that they look great when they head out of our workroom and into your students’ hands!
This Makes it Worth it!

We love it when you send us pics of students and their projects. Seeing photos like this of proud sewers with their beautiful and unique creations makes everything we do worthwhile! Please send your pics to Petra at info@classythreads.com so we can enjoy seeing your students’ work.
Sometimes we post pictures you send us on our website (with your permission, of course) and you can view them in our Photo Gallery.
Thank you to Michelle Fidelack from Saskatchewan for this great photo of two of her students.
