Over the years we have built up a valued group of clients in the US who we are honoured to work with. Unfortunately, the political situation between our countries at the moment is causing some problems for all of us.
The addition of a 25% tariff on goods shipping from Canada to the US means any orders we send you will have this extra 25% charged to you upon receipt of your order.
Classy Threads is a small business. We operate out of one location where all our kits are produced by a small group of dedicated employees. We would love to be able to reduce our costs by 25% in order to keep you from having to pay extra but we are unable to do so and keep functioning.
What we are willing to do is meet you halfway and pay 50% of these fees ourselves.
When your package is delivered we have some simple ways of handling this situation:
If your Order was prepaid prior to shipping using a Credit Card or PayPal:
You pay the full fee at delivery, notify us of the amount you were charged by sending us copies of the UPS paperwork and we will refund 50% of the fee from your original payment (either Credit Card or PayPal).
If your Order will be paid using a Purchase Order/Check after delivery:
Option 1: You pay the full fee at delivery, notify us of the amount you were charged by sending us copies of the UPS paperwork and we will deduct 50% of the fee from your outstanding bill.
Option 2: You notify us of the fee at delivery, we pay the full fee online so your package can be delivered and we add 50% of the fee to your current outstanding bill.
