As COVID-19 continues to impact the global community, we want to reassure you we are here to support you through these challenging times.
As supporters of the sewing community, we will continue to stay open in a reduced capacity. We are a small team who are currently working from home. Our workroom, where orders are processed, will be accessible to only one staff member who will ensure a high level of sanitation. We will be shipping orders twice per week instead of every day, at this time.
Fred Rogers (Mister Rogers) once said: “When I was a young boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me,’Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are
helping’ .”
As a business, how can we help you during this challenging time? We have an ample stock of our usual sewing projects which we hope can offer families a great distraction during this time of self isolation and quarantine. Many of our hand sewing projects are already set up with online tutorials that can easily be accessed on our website and YouTube. As well, we will be including a special little surprise for all orders placed to allow you to bring a little sunshine to someone else’s day. Let’s all be a part of sharing the love and hope of what is to come.
As individuals we can help one another by connecting with friends, neighbours and family through the amazing online and wireless resources we are so privileged to have. Isolation doesn’t have to be lonely. Stay connected and care for one another, but most importantly stay safe and protect yourself, your loved ones and the community at large from contracting the virus. Do your part, which most simply might be just to stay home. If we all do our part and listen to those in authority, we will see this event come to a close much faster than if we ignore and deny what is going on.
Our entire world is being affected by COVID-19. It is up to us to work together to not only pull through but to overcome. We believe in the strength of our world and its people and our ability to help stop the spread of this virus to the betterment of all our nations.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to our customers and their families during this time of uncertainty. As a company, we will be continuing to donate of our time and resources to our more needy neighbours and doing our part under the careful guidance of our local health authorities.
