Olivia’s Advice: Never Stop Learning
Olivia loves to read and she has a wide range of interests! Here are a couple of our favourite books if you are looking for an interesting read.
Shawn’s pick: The Power of Habits. I love this book! It’s an informative and entertaining read that shows how habits are formed and can be changed. It does a great job of giving real world examples on how habits affect our lives, organizations and society as a whole. https://www.developgoodhabits.com/power-of-habit-review/
Petra’s pick: The Introvert Advantage. This is a great book because it will help you understand the gifts and needs of introverts – whether you are one, parenting one or teaching one this will help you! https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/49322.The_Introvert_Advantage
Karen’s Picks: As a wife, mother and business owner, it’s crucial for me to keep things on an organized and smoothly running track. This wasn’t always easy and sometimes not always possible, but a couple great resources that helped me were always focused on doing things better and wiser. Here’s a couple of books that helped me achieve those goals, I believe because they affected my foundation. Hope you gain some useful tidbits from them too.

Meet the Classy Threads Team
Shawn, Sara, Petra and Karen
We thought we’d include some pics of the team in this issue and came up with the idea of an Ice Cream Photo Shoot! We would eat ice cream, get some great photos and do team bonding at the same time! Last week, we headed out to our local 80 flavours on a sunny afternoon and we learned a couple things: ice cream melts very fast and it takes a long time to take pictures of 4 people. By the end of the shoot, ice cream was everywhere and we were exhausted from laughing! We definitely had some team bonding time we will never forget but didn’t get the beautiful, posed pictures we were hoping for. We decided to share the pics with you anyway and maybe you’ll get a laugh too.
